WP-Filebase – Datei Download Manager für WordPress
WP-Filebase is a powerful file/download management plugin for WordPress.
It uses a category/sub-category/file taxonomy to keep everything structured borrower form. Providing a template system, the plugin is made for consistent output for file attachements and file lists including pagination and search functions.
There are two versions available:

Currently in Development:
- File Tags: Like tags of WordPress Articles, files can have multiple tags. In 0.2.9.9 you can only set tags and display them with the template variable %file_tags% Download qsync. Listing all files with the same tags and tag links are not implemented yet.
- Bulk Actions, I know they are greatly missed 😉

Hi,
After months of proper work, our customer started to have problem with uploading files with size more than 10MB. This issue shows a „Error -200: HTTP Error“ or ERROR-450 (looking with firebug) and ERROR 500 if they use standard browser file uploader. Smallest files are uploading properly. Max file upload size is set to 64MB.
Please help to find problem.

To refine i get following error:

I founded problem with Wordfence Firewall. Automatic learning mechanizm probably discovered a problem and blocks or maybe tried to verified uploaded big file with timeout. I willl check it out and report.
After i switch Firewall off uploading files works properly.

Last night some files disappeared. One of the missing files turned up in the core folder as a file with the letter c as its filename.
The Plugin has been deleted from the WP directory. Is there somewhere to get an explanation?
I use free WP-filebase. I’ve just installed the latest release of the plugin Versioon 0.3.0.06. I can’t upload files because ‘file_last_dl_ip’ cannot be null (this is the sistem error message). I added page for file browser, but in settings I cant see list of pages or posts, to enclude page id.
What can I do ?

I am running WP-Filebase Version 3.1.02. on WordPress 4.8.1 and I also had the problem „Unable to insert item into DB! Column ‚file_hash‘ cannot be null“ when uploading files (not successful).
The problem seems to be gone after doing the following:
MySQL DB `wp_wpfb_files` modified:
Column „file_hash“ set flag NN no FALSE
Column „file_last_dl_ip“ set flag NN no FALSE
Column „file_license“ set flag NN no FALSE
Column ‚file_remote_uri‘ set flag NN no FALSE
That means i allowed that columns to be NULL.
After that action the file upload was successful but clicking on the file link in the front end was not successful:
„File not found!“
I dowloaded the latest version from https://github.com/f4bsch/WP-Filebase and installed that plugin / deactivated the old one. After that upload and download of files was successful

I tried to contact through website but site support seems broken. I buy this plugin but can’t activate. Please reply ASAP
Since installing the pro version of wpfilebase, I am seeing periods of time the site will not load and I see these in the log window. The website is password locked down to only authenticated users. Not sure if there is more detail somewhere to

This plugin is no longer being maintained and I had to remove it as it brought down a site I had been using it on. A shame it worked well when I first installed it.

It’s easy enough to fix, though, replacing your call with a ‚true‘ anonymous function (or closure). I want to download it in the direct wordpress directory, it’s not there anymore . Where to download it now?
This is a great plugin and it has a lot of fans. Despite what some say, there is not really a great replacement for it available. I think the closest may be WP File Download. But, now with EOL for PHP V7, and most folks now running PHP V8 and greater, there are errors running it under PHP V8+ and WP V6+.
I highly encourage you to upgrade the code! I would help contribute. But, if you wait much longer most folks will have moved on to another, less desirable plugin.
I have also been using the plugin for a long time.
If the developer here no answer maybe we can make the adjustment together so that the plugin runs under php 8. Some problems I could already solve. Currently, however, I can not get on with this file :
